Questions nursery owners ask us
Do parents have to pay anything?
No. The parent app is completely free. You pay one flat monthly fee for the nursery, and every parent gets the app at no cost.
Can parents pay fees through the app?
Not yet — and we'd rather be straight with you. Today LumiNest generates the invoice, sends the reminders, and you mark the fee as received once the money reaches you. That keeps your records accurate however parents actually pay — cash, transfer or Instapay. Card payment inside the app is on our roadmap.
Is it in Arabic?
Yes — fully, including right-to-left layout. Every parent and teacher can choose Arabic or English independently, and reports print correctly in both.
What if my teachers aren't good with technology?
The teacher app does three things: mark attendance, share a photo, log a meal. Most teachers are comfortable within a day. We train your team as part of setup, at no extra cost.
Can I move my existing children and fees in?
Yes. Send us whatever you have — an Excel sheet, a Word document, even photos of your register. We import it for you before you go live.
Who can see my children's photos and data?
Only your nursery's staff and each child's own parents. Data is separated per nursery, photos are stored encrypted, and parents only ever see their own child. You can export or delete everything on request.
What happens if I want to stop?
Cancel any time — there's no contract lock-in. We'll export all your data and hand it over in a readable format.
